Hi, nice to meet you

Ying Hösl is a process engineer with in-depth knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and skincare, gained through a Diploma in Cosmetic Science . She approaches product development with a commitment to objectivity and excellence. Having grown up in Hamburg, she also brings a touch of Nordic serenity to the crowded world of cosmetics.

The beauty world is full of mistrust towards chemical-sounding ingredients, empty advertising messages, overpriced products, or unrealistic filters. Ying wants to offer its customers reliability while simultaneously empowering them with expertise to rediscover confidence and conscious self-care moments in their skincare routine.

Ying regularly appears as a speaker on topics such as sun protection myths and education on social media. For example, at the Karlsruhe Cosmetics Day (KKT), the BDIH Cosmetics Conference, or EuroSun (The European Conference on Sun Protection).

She is a finalist for the CURIA Prize , which honors people and initiatives that promote equality in STEM fields.

Ying tritt regelmäßig als Speakerin auf zu den Themen Sonnenschutz-Mythen und Aufklärung auf Social Media. Z.B. beim Karlsruher Kosmetiktag (KKT), der BDIH Kosmetikfachtagung oder der EuroSun 2026 (The European Conference on Sun Protection Basel).

Ying war Finalistin des CURIA Preises, der Menschen und Initiativen ehrt, die eine Gleichstellung in MINT fördern. In der Kategorie "Vorbild sein". Für Persönlichkeiten, die andere dazu inspirieren, bestehende Muster zu hinterfragen, mutige Wege zu gehen und die selbst junge Talente für MINT begeistern.
