Hydrology:

Apply in the morning after cleansing, massage in gently, and allow to absorb briefly. A single puff is all it takes. Follow with sunscreen or a day cream, such as the UVA Booster .

Also suitable for evening use.

UVA booster:

Every morning as the last step before make-up.

When exposed to the sun, apply at least one full pump to the face. The pump volume is 0.8 ml.

Sun protection innovation

Our unique formula provides UVA protection that exceeds UVB protection – for the most effective prevention of premature skin aging, without the feel of conventional sunscreen.

Gold standard

The UVA booster is double tested! Using the standard test method and the gold standard.

In Europe, UVA absorption is usually measured in vitro along with the SPF (Sun Protection Factor). This test is considered passed if it is at least 1/3 of the SPF.

In Japan, for example, it's common practice to measure PPD (Persistent Pigment Darkening) on ​​real volunteers (in vivo). This method is considered the gold standard for determining UVA protection. It's significantly more complex, and since it's not mandatory in Europe, PPD information is rarely found.

Although PPD is often used synonymously with the calculated UVA PF, the values ​​can differ slightly because they are two different ways of describing UVA protection.

Measured values

The exact SPF value tested is 30.8 according to ISO 24444:2019. In vitro screening of the UVA PF achieved a value of 55 (comparable to most European sunscreens). This results in a UVA protection factor of 180% of the SPF. The tested in vivo PPD was 38.8 according to the gold standard ISO 24442:2022 (comparable to most Asian sunscreens).

General information on sun protection

Applying too little will reduce the level of protection. Reapply several times to maintain protection, especially after bathing, perspiring, or toweling. Avoid excessive sun exposure. Sunscreens do not provide complete protection against UV rays. Please use shade and wear long clothing. Overexposure to the sun poses a serious health risk. Keep babies and young children out of direct sunlight. Avoid contact with eyes.
